CEJC is recruiting a Project Manager for Protecting the Rights of Adults Under Conservatorship in California, a 35-month project to identify court practices to ensure due process and accountability in probate conservatorships, assess compliance with existing laws, and recommend promising less restrictive options. The project, which was mandated by AB 1194 (and revised by AB 1756), will be conducted in collaboration with the Judicial Council of California (JCC) and in partnership with state and nationally known leaders in the fields of guardianship reform, public policy, elder abuse, and public guardianship. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project, which will include a casefile review, focus groups, and a report to the legislation on findings and recommendations.
